Creativity blossoms through inspiration, communication, knowledge and insight. These core principles of The Concept Lounge are realized through events and workshop programs designed to inspire creativity and communication across disciplines while meditating on established and current trends along with future gazing.

Motivated by their shared experiences as a designer, illustrator and together as curators The Concept Lounge founders, Anjeli and Adam Placzek, recognised the desire amongst industry friends and colleagues for an opportunity to collaborate on projects that platform mutual talents and engage others through practical involvement. Inspired by this, a vision for The Concept Lounge formed as an ideal space to welcome new collaborators from a variety of disciplines to share ideas in a creative, productive environment.

The Concept Lounge is a curatorial collective that works across the design industry to host tailor-made exhibitions, workshops and events in partnership with individuals and institutions.  By providing a forum for debate and the opportunity for interdisciplinary exchange.

The Concept Lounge offers a service distinguished by three component parts: Ideas Generator, Platform and Studio, providing design consultancy and curatorial support for exhibition and event programming through appropriate innovative solutions.

In keeping with their participatory philosophy and lucid approach towards each individual project The Concept Lounge offers partnership and collaboration opportunities with selected new and seasoned innovators and specialists.  Together we offer a uniquely organic, distinctive and independent service enhanced by our own experience and respect for others.
